Sometimes I Like Him

Seven lines on the moving target that is the self in the mirror.

A small one. About the strange fact that the you you see is never quite the same one twice.

When I look in the mirror

What do I see?

If you asked me

I’d say I see someone new

Every day

Sometimes I like him

Sometimes I don’t

That’s the honest report. The you in the mirror is shifting all the time, and the relationship to him is too. Both versions — the like and the don’t — are temporary. So is the next one.
